About Us - Private Practice Shared Interest Groups
Share |

Private Practice Shared Interest Groups (SIGs) bring social workers together in an organized way to advocate, educate, disseminate information, connect people with resources, and promote social action on behalf of clients, themselves, and others. The Private Practice groups meet regularly around the state and offer NASW members free participation.  The PPSIGs give members the opportunity to network and discuss issues specifically related to being in private practice- billing, referrals, insurance panels, and more.

Additional Shared Interest Groups (SIGs), which support the NASW-NJ Strategic Plan and relate to the programs, priorities and goals of the Chapter, are in development. Further information will be provided on this page as it becomes available.

See below for a list of  our PPSIGs and their facilitators. To view upcoming PPSIG meetings, go to our Events Calendar and filter by "Shared Interest Groups.' To join any of our PPSIG listservs, please send an e-mail with the PPSIG title to Christina Mina at cmina.naswnj@socialworkers.org
